  • Annual Luminary Lighting

    Saturday, December 13, 2025*
    The annual luminary event is a beautiful Country Club neighborhood tradition. Collectively, thousands of luminaries create a stunning, yet serene affect. With the luminaries highlighting the walkways and holiday lighting on the distinctive architecture, this event draws people from all over the area. Driving or walking the neighborhood is a fun way to experience the tranquil evening with other neighbors and residents. Luminary order forms are distributed near the time of the event.

    *if weather inclement, event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 14th.

  • Halloween Spooktacular

    Friday, October 31, 2025
    The Country Club Historic District is a very popular place on Halloween. If you’ve not yet experienced a Country Club Halloween, you could be in for a scare (if you’re not prepared). The neighborhood comes alive with Trick-or-Treaters, so ensure you have plenty of candy if you wish to participate. It’s not unusual to have 400 visitors.

  • Fall Clean Up

    Saturday, October 4th
    Country Club Historic District will join the City of Omaha and Keep Omaha Beautiful for the annual fall clean up. This is an opportunity to rid your household of unsightly items and any items that won’t fit in the weekly curbside pick-ups. Volunteers are needed!! Watch upcoming newsletters for more info!

  • Labor Day Picnic

    CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
    The Labor Day Picnic is an afternoon block party with fun activities for kids and socializing with your neighbors. Food and beverages provided by the Country Club Historic District Neighborhood Association. Sides and desserts are brought pot luck by houses throughout the neighborhood.

  • Landscape & Garden Spring Clean Up

    Spring 2025
    Each spring we ask for help clearing leaves and debris, hauling yard waste and spreading mulch at the Peanut and Triangle gardens. No experience or tools needed! Please watch the neighborhood Facebook group and newsletter for details or contact the council.

  • Easter Egg Hunt

    Saturday, April 12, 2025

    Hosted by One Hope Church on Saturday, April 12th - 10am at Metcalf Park located at 1702 Country Club Ave. Kids will be divided into age groups. Volunteers needed day of the event. If interested, please email the council and we’ll connect you with One Hope organizers.
